How the Platform Works
Our system will use your home address to match you to the geographical boundaries for the riding you live in, so you can then email the MPP who represents you in the Ontario Legislature.
Every week, MPPs receive thousands of emails from constituents and others vying for the attention of the provincial government. We need to make every effort to stand out. Emails are first assessed by MPP staffers, and having a diverse range of letters helps our message get noticed and can generate support from the MPP.
Because so many letters arrive in MPP inboxes each day, they are typically scanned rather than read beginning to end. So the style or exact word-smithing of the letter sent may not be as significant as the volume and variety of emails received.
